The Summit Bistro brings the concept of incorporating restaurant and
café with the panoramic beauty of Lampung.
Nested on Jl. Raden Imba
Kesuma Ratu Sukajadi, Bandar Lampung, the bistro constituted of three
floors of which each designated for different occasions.
First floor of the building was designed for VIP lounges with Beer
Mart, second floor for families, and the third floor tend to be aimed
for youngsters. As for the food, 90 percent of the menus were European
food with their best menus being Caramelized Oxtail, which was an oxtail
soup plus caramel broth, and Bockwurst Summit Royale which was
Australian 42-cm sausage served with boonies sauce and cheese.
There was also Tenderloin Steak made of imported beef. Next on the
menu list were Stuffed Beef Roulade, Chicken Cordon Blue, and Rosemary
Chicken Leg. Among western food, local menus were also offered such as
Alas Daun Rice, or The Summit Fried Rice.
It was Perry Tristianto, an entrepreneur and a pioneer from Bandung, who saw the potential of Lampung and built the bistro.
"I dare to build the place because two years ago I saw that Lampung
airport have already crowded with tourists," Perry said in the bistro.
"I hope the restaurant will be an icon to Lampung for its triple view:
Bandar Lampung, mountains, and sea."
Here, visitors are offered a triple view, which were cityscape of Bandar Lampung (city), mountains and sea.
In the future, Perry is planning to expand the restaurant into a
6-hectare resort where there will be Sundanese restaurant, hotel,
playing ground, swimming pool, jogging track, and cable cars available
for hotel guests.
