Chairman of Bali’s Museum Association Anak Agung Gede Rai said he had
prepared a series of breakthroughs to increase the number of people
visiting museums in the province.
“Among the breakthroughs were the reorganizing of museum collections
by curators and promoting the museums to schools,” he said in Denpasar
on Saturday.
He said the measures would involve the community and schools in the
province with the ultimate aim of jacking up the number of museum
visitors annually.
“The Arma Museum is already equipped with visions, missions and
concepts to lure more visitors, including by inviting and allocating
spaces to schools so that they can hold events related to museum
preservation,” he said.
Agung was bullish the strategies would be able to increase the number
of museum visitors, saying that well-managed museums would be capable
of enticing the community and tourists to visit them.
